I've been wanting to get into reading lately but I've been struggling since I have a very specific taste in what I want to read. For some more information I like enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, god x paladin/worshipper of said God, doomed romance, internalized homophobia, characters with deep emotional connections and partnerships that don't seem surface level or rushed. not a must, but if the romance wasn't the complete focus that'd be nice.
that's all I can think to say, thanks for any suggestions.
Edit: I do NOT want any of those skinny pathetic whiney twinks and big buff alpha males. I can't explain it but I hope you know what I mean. Two big buff men aswell as trans men much appreciated (but not required)

Red: A Cradle Song by Samantha Shannon might work – it’s got teh fantasy worldbuilding and complex relationships you’re looking for, though it’s more focused on found family dynamics. For something more romance-heavy, try The Priory of the Orange Tree which has some great slow-burn elements and isn’t just about the relationships
The House in the Cerulean Sea is lighter but has that deep emotional connection thing down pat if you want something less intense
