I saw this quote in a meme and it cracked me up. it does hit on this trope that i love though, the kind of "indomitable will of mankind" thing.
For as silly as that can be, I am looking for a book that makes you say Hell Yeah, and less a funny book.
Also, aliens are a place holder, can be that or any other obstacle, thanks friends!

I believe that is called HFY, or Humans, Fuck Yeah. Also, humans are space orks. I think there is an HFY sub, feel like I saw that a long time back.
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. The whole series is about Carl making the aliens regret picking Earth for their sadistic game show.

What I can say is that deamons and angels were not ready to fight 21 century armies. HFY at is peak.
The Shattering Peace by John Scalzi. Aliens vs humans, and the humans account for themselves very well, thank you. It reads just fine as a stand alone book, but if you like it you can circle back to the rest of the books in this future of humanity.
