So yeah i’m trying to get back into reading consistently. first time posting here so hope this is fine. i used to read a lot before life got busy. now i’m trying to rebuild that habit slowly. i started with a couple mystery books and liked it. but i’m still figuring out what really hooks me. i think i lean toward mystery or thriller overall. but also curious about literary fiction that’s not too heavy. i don’t want something that feels like homework. just something engaging and worth my time. i read mostly at night before sleeping. so pacing matters a lot for me. if it’s too slow i’ll probably drop it. but if it’s too chaotic i get lost. kind of looking for a middle ground. good story, interesting characters, solid writing. nothing too extreme either way. i also like when a book leaves you thinking a bit after. not confused just reflective. i’m open to trying different styles within that range. just need a few good starting points. what books helped you get back into reading again
