I’ve been searching for the perfect book for the past two days… I’ve watched multiple videos and even asked ChatGPT, but nothing really fits what I’m looking for. So now I’ve decided to ask the community!
I’ll try to explain the two types of books I’m interested in—you can recommend either one:
Type 1:
If you know Sakura and Sasuke (from Naruto), you’ll understand the kind of dynamic I mean. He’s more on the “morally gray” or even villainous side, but deep down he truly loves her. I’m especially interested in a story where the FMC might even turn to his side, and they become a powerful, slightly “evil” couple together (I know that might sound a bit unusual).
Some tropes that fit what I’m looking for:
– Sunshine x Grumpy
– Unrequited Love → Becomes Canon
– Redemption & Survival
– Battle Couple
Important: I’m not a fan of dark romance.
Type 2:
The MMC has a dangerous profession (military, special forces, etc.), while the FMC is a civilian. He would do anything to protect her and only really shows his soft side to her. Because of his job, she ends up in danger, and he goes to great lengths to keep her safe.
Again, I don’t like dark romance (no stalking, overly kinky elements, etc.). A bit of spice is totally fine—but I want more than just that.
