need fantasy romance recs!!!

so i finished reading Tusk Love by Thea Guanzon recently and i loved it, but i’ve been unlucky in finding something similar to read. need something fantasy romance, preferably sexually explicit, and queer rep is always appreciated but not a must.

in general, i would say i’ve struggled with ‘romantasy’ books even though this is a blend of genres that i absolutely adore. i really need depth in my romance, and i feel like that’s been lacking in a lot of popular romantasy books, at least of the ones i’ve read. i want yearning and genuine connection and good communication. but i also want good fantasy world building and an entertaining and interesting plot or atmosphere.

after reading Tusk Love, i tried out City of Gods and Monsters, and that one was okay romance wise, but the world building and plot felt a little clunky at times. the romance was slow burn, which i did enjoy, but idk the overall vibe was edgy and angsty since it’s an urban fantasy and i wasn’t the biggest fan. also the sex scenes in Tusk Love were written way better than in this book in my opinion. more sex scenes similar to Tusk Love please.
