I love the concept of 2+ characters who are actually really competent on their own working together only to end up being very incompetent by comparison (or at least more seemingly dumb. like they get the job done but my god did they do so in a pathetic manner). I saw a joke on TikTok referring to is as “book street” (book smart + street smart). an ex I saw was aang and sokka from atla.
