I'm looking for my next book to read and was curious about some of your recommendations!
I'm really open to anything – some books I've enjoyed are Project Hail Mary, Demon Copperhead, IT, Crying in H Mart, Into Thin Air, When Breath Becomes Air, Letters from Christopher (Watts), The Lost Girls (by Glatt) to name a few. Books I found disappointing – The Housemaid, Verity, The Kind Worth Killing (not because they're thrillers, just didn't like how random the plot seemed).
EDIT: I'm not a big fan of smut. Some spiciness is perfectly fine.

Fever Pitch – Nick Hornby
The Sphere by Michael Crichton
The Fourth Monkey trilogy is a brilliant read
Crime & Punishment
These are the books I’d definitely pick up if I’m on a reading slump
– The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins) series! I’ve been following the series around the same time the first movie came out and I still love it even after all these years. Great dystopian, resistance to authority, with some romance mixed in.
– Born A Crime (Trevor Noah). A memoir but still worth re-reading every few years for me. Very funny too!
– The Little Prince (Antoine St Exupery). If we’re talking about a small book that you can read in a day.
– The Hobbit (JRR Tolkien) if you want fantasy and just deep into a big adventure. And then of course the Lord of the Rings after this.
