Hello,
I'm reading a lot of manga, manhwa, manhua, and comics recently, but I noticed that a lot of detail is missed or simply left out compared to their novel counterparts.
As previously stated, any genre, length, or difficulty is fine as long as it's not romance or drama.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I understand completely!, sometimes a novel based principal that I find is missing. Not that manga is not a good read, don’t get me wrong. Try, The Promise of Catastrophe by Ronald Washington, it’s action paced with a sci-fi vibe and global conspiracy overtones. It’s a great transitional book from the manga style, I hope this helps.
If you like slow, unsettling feeling where something’s just… off and you can’t explain it, my book leans into that.
