I am looking for book(s) that follow a similar plot and vibes as the show Californication with David Duchovny where the main character is an artist/author/creator and preferably a woman/fem who is bisexual sapphic and who is deeply troubled by some type of internal conflicts similarly to Hank Moody. Bonus points if it is mostly a written account/first person where we follow their thought stream throughout. I’m so interested in the psychology behind a protagonist like Hank Moody so I think that would be the main necessity in the recommended book I am searching for.
