I was told Tertulia is an excellent, ethical alternative to Amazon, but my experience thus far has been strange. I placed an order for a few books (all marked as in stock and shipping within 1 business day). It’s been 22 days and thus far the only “shipping” scan has been the creation of the label. I doubt the actual package was handed off to the USPS, and if it was, it may have been lost. Scanning delays of up to a week aren’t super abnormal, but at this point something’s up.
Customer service has yet to respond to two emails despite claims that they respond within two business days. I may have to file a CC chargeback for the first time in my life.
I’m so disappointed. If you’ve used them, what was your experience? Even if this is resolved yet, it doesn’t make me very comfortable ordering from them again.
