Okay so I don’t think their is wrong answer here.
I would start with mistborn. Book 1 is one of his best and it has a really cool magic system. It is 3 book series with spin off that take place many generations later.
Way of kings is good but very long and is no were near done. It is good but a commitment.
He has a bunch of stand along books that are good too and not a bad place to stick your toe in. But mistborn is my recommendation. Good luck.
