My girlfriend is pretty dyslexic, so reading books is a chore and difficult for her. However, some smut books have been fun enough to motivate her to read; even still, she must listen to the audio book to help her follow along.
Until now. I gave her an ereader that allows her adjusts fonts and spacing to help with dyslexia, and tested it on a random smut book. It worked great, and she read it on her own in a few days!!
Now that she can read easily, I want to help her expand into books with more substance. She is interested in exploring romance, maybe fantasy, crime dramas, but obviously she’s not certain (hence my “other” flair). But neither of us know where to start, and I think having some spice in there will help transition her into finding new genres she enjoys.
What’s a page turner that’s more than some spice? I’d also like to add she couldn’t really get into the COTAR series
