i’m sorry if a similar request has already been made on this Subreddit.
looking for, as the title says, something you’ve never heard anybody in the wild, online or offline, ever mention, without purposefully searching up the book. i’m mostly looking for fiction, but i won’t say no to nonfiction either!
i’d also greatly appreciate any recommendations of books that have made it big in your country, but haven’t seemed to break through internationally.

The This by Adam Roberts (UK). Picked it up at a small indie book store, read it, passed it on. The only thing that stuck with me was the description of war, but it was an ok sci-fi overall. It’s got almost 600 reviews on GoodReads, so at least *some* people read it, but I never see it mentioned anywhere.
