Doing some research for something I'm working on. I've been trying to find books that fear demons in a modern or urban fantasy setting. I was trying to find something similar to the highschool dxd light novels but in most books I find demons tend to be the final or only threat and I'm trying to find something where they navigate through a world with other mythical creatures etc. any suggestions would help thank you

Bartimaeus Trilogy
Sandman Slim series by Richard Kadrey. It’s crude but very entertaining. Pretty sure Kadrey was a convict or something along those lines and you can tell in his writing, like a sailor who hasn’t seen land in years. Protagonist and very morally grey and it’s got good pacing and tons of demons.
