I’m looking for a book / series which is high on adventure, epic storylines, medieval-style world. I don’t mind magic but don’t want it to be the main theme. I’d also like it to be “clean” – nothing sexual or weird in it.
A bunch of characters going on a quest for some reason – that kind of thing.
Does such a thing exist?
I’ve read LotR, Hobbit, Silmarillion, tales from the Perilous Realm by Tolkien and enjoyed them.
I love Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis and Redwall series by Brian Jacques too.
The Legend of Zelda games are also some of my favourite media / stories.
I’ve tried Wheel of Time series and Eragon and didn’t like them at all.

Ranger’s Apprentice series, maybe?
Robin Hobb’s trilogies meet this for me. The Fitz and the Fool-related ones specifically. There are Liveship Traders trilogies in there that I didn’t read, but people love them too. The ending was so epically satisfying to me, too.
(I also couldn’t get into wheel of time or eragon, but very much liked the ones you listed, and I loved playing Legend of Zelda).
