I'm looking for something in the same vein as the Jane Lawless (and Sophie Greenway) series by Ellen Hart, Kate Delafield series by Katherine V. Forrest, and/or the Roxane Weary series by Kristen Lepionka? Not too fussy about the specific mystery subgenre, but prefer not to read sexual violence scenes and prefer romance as a subplot only. Not really my usual genre but my sister is always reading these types of books and she’s mentioned a few that might work for you. She really likes teh V.I. Warshawski series and some newer stuff by authors like Nicole Griffith, though I can’t remember the exact titles off teh top of my head
