Our relationship ended because of the long distance between us and the fact she felt she couldn't reciprocate my rather intense expressions of love and attachment. I was willing to set aside my life in Australia to reunite with her in Norway but, as the effect of the distance bore too much, her romantic love faded.
Looking for a read that helps me realise I'm not the only one and that I can love again. Also happy for it to be fictional.

went through similar thing few years back and reading helped a lot – maybe try something like “high fidelity” by nick hornby, it’s about guy dealing with breakups and has that male perspective you’re looking for
