I'll be 18 in a couple of months. I want some suggested reading to celebrate and educate myself at least. I acquired War and Peace from Tolstoy yesterday but I'm thinking on my next book! (Seeing that it would take some months to finish that one) Any ideas?

First I want to say don’t be discouraged if War and Peace ends up being a lot harder than you expected. It’s not just long. It’s dense, with hundreds of characters in a historical context that can be hard to wrap your head around.
Dostoyevsky might be a better experience than Tolstoy. Try Crime and Punishment!
