I want to get back into reading and am a sucker for fantasy books. Eragon and True Bloodseries was my bread and butter. It can have romance, but not be the main focus. Enemies/rivals to lovers if possible.
I've tried with to many books, but none has caught my eye as they use to. First person sassy/sarcastic FMC that's not like other girls gets tiring when they are all the same. Written well it can work, I wouldn't mind reading.

It’s not a love story, but one of my personal favourite trilogies ever is the Licanius Trilogy by James Islington. Superb use of identity and world building that transports you there, and a well put together plot across the three books.
