I just finished re-reading wise blood by Flannery o Connor and I’m really hoping to stay in this genre for a while. I love the weird free for all southern settings.. the often religious/ conservative guilt based horror and whacked out characters. Those more well versed in this genre what would your go to recommendations be for someone looking to plunge deeper into that world?
