So, I'm currently brainstorming, gathering ideas and inspirations for a story setting that came to me the other day, and it involves some kind of massive man-made structure. I've already noted some books to read that feature this, such as piranesi, but i'd like to expand and have many different sources. Moreover, there are 2 books in particular that I remember reading the prefactions of inside a book store and not buying them, this happened 5 to 7 years ago but I don't remember exactly, and for the life of me I can't track them down with internet research. One involved a man getting separated from his daughter or his wife inside this massive futuristic dystopian metropolis resembling the tower of babel, and thus him going on a journey-adventure to find her again, and the other involved a girl (iirc) wandwering through this infinite gothic castle. any help is appreciated, thanks in advance 🙂
