I couldn't figure out what tag this would go under, but I think psychology is fitting. I've always been interested in the idea of cults and how they start and develop and I wanted to get into some reading on the subject. I haven't read ANY cult related books yet so if there are any that you know suggest them please! I am looking more for non-fiction books about what a cult is and how it starts, rather than just the psychology behind it.

There is *The Culting of America* but I haven’t read it.
I found *Don’t Call It a Cult: The Shocking Story of Keith Raniere and the Women of NXIVM* by Sarah Berman to be a chilling read
Blazing Eye Sees All is a great one!
