I want to read a book that has a really quirky protagonist and it's upbeat like these. I know Eleanor Oliphant is way sadder but it's also very funny at times, I don't mind a bit of drama and complexity but I prefer the overall tone to be humouristic.

Man I loved Rosie Project back when I read it during deployment. For similar vibes maybe try anything by Fredrik Backman – his characters are always bit odd but in endearing way. Also there’s this book called The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window which has super quirky main character and lots of humor mixed with some deeper stuff
The protagonist in that one is just completely unpredictable but you end up rooting for him anyway. Similar energy to those books you mentioned
A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman
The Borrowed Life of Fredrick Fife. The Road to Tender Hearts. Lessons in Chemistry.
