Camino Island is one of my favorite books and I've read it multiple times. I love the island setting, the bookstore, and the cast of quirky but grounded writers. I also like the rare books/first editions element of the story. The heist and search for the missing Fitzgerald manuscripts is interesting but not what keeps me coming back. I've obviously read the other two books in the Camino series. I liked the second one, the third was a struggle.
I'm looking for other novels that revolve around a bookish world and have quirky yet grounded writers/literary characters. Bonus points for mystery/crime.
Not looking for twee cozies.
