I am looking for a book that deals with the concept of grieving someone who is still alive. For context, I really messed up in a relationship and she has chosen to not consider any future possibility.
Its hard to deal with. The fact that I ended up hurting someone so close to me and not having her close enough to work on things.
Please suggest me a book to help deal with this.

Shark Heart is an incredible book about loss that uses surrealism to explore this really well. A newly wed couple comes to terms with the future after the husband is diagnosed with turning into a great white shark. It sounds comedic, but it’s really moving.
elizabeth kubler ross …. on death and dying and a few more titles by her also about grief…………old books, but explain everything about grief…………. google her……………..” life lessons” might be something that will help, along with time.
hope you work this out…………
