Started reading early this year, so far I have finished reading the Red Rising Trilogy (Red Rising, Golden Son, and Morning Star) and Project Hail Mary.
Can someone recommend 2 – 3 books for a beginner reader like me, preferably less than 500 – 600 pages?
fyi I don't read self-help books – I also played a lot of Video Games and watched a lot of movies & TV Series.
I'm thinking of buying Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson

Mistborn is solid choice but maybe try The Martian first since you loved Project Hail Mary – same author and similar vibe but shorter
Mistborn is good.
Dungeon Crawler Carl is good and funny. It’s less than 500 pages. It has a video game feel to it as the main character traverses through a dungeon leveling up. You’ll fly through it. I’d describe it as kind of like Diablo, if you’re familiar with that.
