I’m looking for suggestions for fantasy books that aren’t based on European landscapes/folklore/etc. The vast majority of the fantasy I find is Europe based and
1) I mean there absolutely has to be a lot of fantasy set elsewhere, Europe isn’t that big, and really not that magical, and
2) I would not want to live in medieval Europe. If I had to live in medieval times Id want to live somewhere warmer. Where people actually are and where there is food. Maybe Mexico or South Asia you know?? These poor characters are freezing to death and living off of bread
