I’ve been reading erotica on my own for a while, mostly shorter stories, and I’ve always enjoyed it.
Recently, I started thinking about sharing that with my girlfriend and maybe turning it into something we can explore together. The thing is… the kind of stuff I usually read feels a bit too personal (or specific) to just casually share, so I’ve been hesitant.
Instead, I’d like to start fresh with her — find longer, more immersive stories or books that we can read together, something that builds tension and has a bit more depth, rather than just short, straight-to-the-point stories.
The idea is to create a shared experience, maybe even read out loud, talk about it, and ease into that space together.
Has anyone here done something similar? Any recommendations for longer reads that work well for couples, or advice on how to approach this without it feeling awkward?
