MJ deep dive, but make it complete — one definitive book or a 2–3 book combo that actually tells everything!

I’m trying to do a proper deep dive into the full life story, start to finish. Childhood, superstardom, controversies, final years — the entire arc!

Came across Michael Jackson: The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story, 1958–2009 (the updated 2009/2010 version). It sounds like a complete package, though am not so sure regarding this (based on the sub's divided opinions)..

Or instead, should I read a 2–3 book combo…

Also open to documentaries that don’t dodge anything — career, personal life, allegations, all in all!
