I'm looking for a nostalgia inducing book, especially one involving kids/teens. When I was in school I used to look at the bulletin board and see pictures and writings from previous classes. They were all kids, around the same age as me, but from decades ago. I used to think about them and what their life was like. I'm looking for a book with a similar theme. Where there's perhaps a main kid in the present time, and they are connected to kids from the past. They realize they are very similar yet different. There is some aspect to them they will never be able to breach, the difference produced by time. Yet, they also learn that kids have always been kids
