SMAB about/featuring a scary non-human male succumbing to the desire to be loved

For context, I had a strange nightmare. A small portion of it involved a vampire covered in blood clinging to a woman, begging her to love him in an uncharacteristically soft and desperate tone, then nuzzling into her when she accepts.

I guess I’m more so looking for “unemotional/hardened creature who didn’t know it wants/needs love finally realizes it.”

Idk, it was just a moment and I really liked it 🥺
