Hey everyone,
I’m looking for book recommendations that capture that feeling of not really belonging anywhere , like you’re untethered, even in places that are supposed to feel like home.
I’m totally okay with sad or bittersweet endings. Honestly, I think I’d prefer that over anything overly neat or hopeful.
Some books that kinda hit this feeling for me:
- Normal People
- The Catcher in the Rye
- A Little Life
- Convenience Store Woman
- My Friends (Fredrik Backman)
- The New Me
- Good Morning, Midnight
I’d love stories with a “found family” element, but I’d prefer to avoid romance being the main focus.
Open to anything literary, quiet, introspective, or even a little strange.
Thanks in advance 🙂
