Hey everyone,
I’m looking for book recommendations that capture that feeling of not really belonging anywhere, like you’re untethered, even in places that are supposed to feel like home.
I’m totally okay with sad or bittersweet endings. Honestly, I think I’d prefer that over anything overly neat or hopeful.
Some books that kinda hit this feeling for me:
- Normal People
- The Catcher in the Rye
- A Little Life
- Convenience Store Woman
- My Friends (Fredrik Backman)
- The New Me
- Good Morning, Midnight
I’d love stories with a “found family” element, but I’d prefer to avoid romance being the main focus.
Open to anything literary, quiet, introspective, or even a little strange.
Thanks in advance 🙂
