The one I’m a going to recommend is a biography. If you want to see what it’s like for a single person to live with antisocial personality disorder. (Psychopath/sociopath is an outdated term.)

      Psychopath by Patric Gagne.

Much more classical than the ones you mentioned. Le Parfum by Patrick Suskind. I think the English version goes under Perfume: story of a murderer

Filth by Irvine Welsh. A psychopathic cop infected with a sentient tapeworm.

I’m not sure if this was intentional, Melissa Broder’s protagonists come off as sociopaths. Definitely in both The Pisces and Milk Fed.

I read Sociopath by Patric Gagne and really enjoyed it despite seeing mixed reviews online. A memoir about a girl navigating her sociopathic tendencies and ASPD.

    6. I feel like Bret Easton Ellis ‘Rules of Attraction’ is from the perspective of multiple socio and psychopaths.

    7. *Sociopath: A Memoir* by Patric Gagne.

This is nonfiction by a psychologist who is a sociopath.

    8. Jane Doe – Victoria Helen Stone

A Certain Hunger – Chelsea Summers

How to Kill Your Family – Bella Mackie

i’d recommend “The Talented Mr. Ripley”, it’s such a chillingly calm sociopath that you almost find yourself rooting for him lol

    10. The Face That Must Die, by Ramsey Campbell. And as others have mentioned, The Killer inside Me, by Jim Thompson.
