I’m looking for any books that talk about bettering your patients and regulating emotions. It’s taking a toll on my relationships and I say that I will do better, but I don’t know where to start. Anything you think may help, please suggest.

Buddhism helps. Specifically the tenet that requires you to assume noble intent. It can occasionally backfire when someone clearly has none and it takes you far too long to realize it, but overall it’s worth the risk.

Been there man, work gets stressful and I end up snapping at people when I dont mean to. Few books that helped me out – there’s one about emotional intelligence that really broke things down simple, and another one about mindfulness stuff that actually wasn’t too hippie-ish. The mindfulness one was weird at first but it teaches you how to like pause before reacting which is huge. My dog probably thinks I’m way less of a grump now lol. Takes time though so dont expect overnight changes
