Had to read The Handmaid’s Tale for a book club I joined and was dreading it because dystopian stuff usually stresses me out too much. Ended up absolutely devouring it in two days and now I keep copies in my purse and car just in case someone needs a good rec

Theo of Golden. I was afraid it was a religious book. Not the case for the most part. What an incredible read

Catch-22. Fantastic book. The whole book was full of scenarios that I can see actually happening. It isn’t a typical book I’d select, but I wanted to read it again almost immediately after I finished it.

Malibu Rising. The plot just didn’t excite me but ended up gripping me from the start.

It’s not that “deep” compared to my usual reads of literary fiction, but I decided to check out Lisa Jewell’s None of This Is True and I loved it! For one, I had low expectations because I’m not usually interested in thrillers. But man, I was taken in by it. It actually converted me into an audiobook stan because the voice acting is absolutely amazing!
