    I’m looking for a book where the main character is enticing enough to keep you reading no matter what. Whether they’re charming and charismatic, or a personality that we don’t normally see and makes you reflect on yourself.

      Patrick Bateman from American Psycho is probably the most fascinating trainwreck I’ve ever followed through a book – you keep reading even though you’re horrified by him. On the complete opposite end, Holden Caulfield just felt so real and relatable even when he was being annoying as hell
