I’ve been getting more into books that are based on real events or real people’s lives. There’s something about knowing a story actually happened that makes it hit differently.
I recently read a couple of true story books and I’m looking for more that really stick with you, either emotional, shocking, or inspiring.

Into Thin Air messed me up for weeks after reading it – Krakauer’s writing about that Everest disaster is absolutley haunting and you can feel how guilty he still feels about what happened
