So I have been craving a classic adventure type fantasy novel where MC's friend/brother/sis/etc has disappeared. And mc goes on an adventure to find his friend etc while coming across many mysteries while trying to frind clues to where his friend etc might have disappeared.
Roaming town and town wandering all the continents, meeting new people, creating friends, defeating monster that tries to kill them along the way while never forgettig his mission of finding his friend etc and coming across many clues related to his friend etc that might suggest that his friend etc might not have been a normal person but more mysterious than he thought.
And most important there shouldn't be any romance. I'm kinda tired of reading romance all the time and just want some found family friendship type of story.
It shouldn't have to be looking for a mysterious friend it could also be certain circumstances leading MC to have an adventure with some few people some he had before starting and some he met along the way.
Pls if someone know something similar to this pls tell me I'm craving it so badly
