The defining decade by Meg Jay is a great book designed for twenty something year olds. Has some great advice for how to navigate that period in your life – probably the best book you could get for what you’re looking for

The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. Whenever I am struggling to feel content with my lot in life or find myself comparing myself to others, I pull out this short nonfiction account of World War Two in Holland. I’ve read it countless times and it never fails to reset my perspective on what it means to live life well and what is truly valuable.

    3. I think Pema Chödrön’s books would help you a lot. They’re all about learning to cope with difficult emotions and circumstances, to ground yourself in the present moment, and to show yourself loving kindness. Chödrön is a Buddhist nun, but her advice is written with a secular audience in mind. Very quick, easy reads too.

fwiw, you sound like an intelligent and accomplished person! Finishing med school by 24 is no joke!!! Wishing you all the best 🙂
