Looking for advice about a book (paper or online). Where can I find well-written and accurate accounts of great expeditions of the past (e.g. James Cook voyages)? Wikipedia and Britannica articles are disappointing in how poorly they are written, riddled with sudden jumps over long periods of time, lack of details or sudden flurry of minor details. Is there a book or books that give a good description of the expeditions, their results, historical and scientific context? Thanks in advance!
