I haven't read in a while, but a common theme I liked to read about were adventure like books: like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan. Something along those lines.
but I'd like to hear about really well-aclaimed books too, like masterpiece kinds? though idk if they would be hard reads.

real good taste with those series, just finished Percy Jackson again last month
You could try the Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb as the next step in the fantasy genre. Reads quick, high reward, and if you like it, there are plenty more in that series and world
Another tack might be to see how you like Brandon Sanderson. Try Mistborn and see how you like it. If that suits, congratulations, there are dozens more where that came from.
Or, consider George R R Martin’s Dunk and Egg series. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms collects the first three novellas and is a great, simple story to start with. Plenty more in the world if needed but also satisfyingly self contained.
