Hi all,
I’m looking for a really good book to get into something genuinely addictive that I won’t be able to put down. Ideally written after the 90s (just need a break from older stuff for now).
I’m after fiction, preferably character-driven, but nothing with child abuse or anything overly distressing. Also not into fantasy.
Some books I’ve loved recently (for vibe):
Demon Copperhead — Demon Copperhead
The Testaments — The Testaments
The Glass Castle — The Glass Castle
Burial Rites — Burial Rites
Always Home, Always Homesick — Always Home, Always Homesick
Short stories by John Cheever
Anything with a similar feel would be amazing
Thanks!
