so, a while back i was listening to an asmr in which basically the fmc is a mafia family head cuz her family ( parents + elder bro) died in a car accident 3 years ago. she is having a bad bad time, her perfectly planned missions get ruined somehow and her associates are dropping dead one by one.
she decides to make a deal with another mafia family and propose a marriage deal , she tells her right hand man ( who is very loyal and had been with her for 3 years now )to make the arrangements and everything.
but on their way they get attacked and her right hand man protects her and they hide in a locker?. they talk and the oh so loyal man acts weird
truns out he is the traitor, she tries to fight him but he is powerful. he knocks her out
she wake up and finds herself bound to a chair. the man (call him mmc) is explains each everything he did and why he did it. he killed her fam.
she is very angry, she asks him whats the point?
turns out he is 3rd son of a mafia fam and he wanted to his own empire. he used her as a short cut.
"why am i alive then?" fmc asks . mmc says he got use to her caring nature towards maids/strangers and soft heart , she is not meant for this cruel world.
mind u mmc sounds EVIL.
"kill me" she says, he refuses and says he'll keep her as a pet (more like entertainment)
"what does that mean?"
he kisses her (call me crazy but i luv this shii) and says this is what i mean.
fmc resists but she is now bound,betrayed and heart broken.
the asmr ends.
NOW, that is what i need. something like that. evil ass mmc.

girl this sounds absolutely unhinged and i’m here for it 😂 that whole “keep you as a pet” line is so dark but somehow hits different when it’s fictional mafia drama
for books like this you might want to check some dark romance tags – the betrayal + power dynamics sound right up that alley. can’t think of exact titles off top of my head but goodreads has some wild recs if you search for “mafia betrayal romance” 💀
