I'm looking for recommendations for a book that has to do with building or creating something. I do not read very frequently but I'm drawn to books where I feel like I've learned something when I'm finished. I enjoyed "Every Tools a Hammer" and "Beneath a Scarlet Sky".

Making of the Atomic Bomb by Richard Rhodes is fascinating. It goes into the history of the discoveries that made it possible to create the bomb and the scientists involved.
