Hello friends, I am coming in search of fun and engaging science fiction books. Specifically, I am looking for subgenres that include post-apocalyptic / dystopian themes or things along the lines of cyberpunk and steampunk-esque themes.
The only science fiction books I have read recently (that I can remember) are The Fifth Wave (Ricky Yancey) and the Daniel X (James Patterson) series. While I did enjoy these books, I find myself looking for something with more action and unique or unpredictable plots. 🙂 I really enjoy technology-based or disease-based storylines.
