Standalone fantasy or sci-fi novellas? Fish out of water where the character is in a new world.

I'm looking for novellas that aren't part of a series, they're wrapped up in one book.

I quite enjoyed A Short Stay In Hell, something about putting people in a whole different environment and watching how things play out over time I enjoyed. What do you call that, fish out of water?
