Addictive book

I'm looking for an addictive romance book but I'm not a fan of what's blowing up in tiktok bc, although I've found them addictive, I haven't enjoyed some of the character or writing choices. I've heard abt some Jane Austen books but I've also heard that they all end in marriage and are a little bit toxic and idt I want that. Could you suggest me a book or convince me to read Jane Austen. Btw I did enjoy house in the cerulean sea and I'd give you the sun. O also really liked they romance part in Jane Eyre but it all turned quite toxic and didn't like that
