Hello! Looking for fiction/lit fiction that’ll flip me upside down and make me go, “what?”
I got a taste of Murakami’s work, specifically Kafka On The Shore, and simply want more of that – I loved the dreaminess of it all. I just want a nice contrast to the books I’m currently reading, most of which are grounded and realistic (Halfway through Crime & Punishment, and just started Plato’s The Republic)
And because I’ve got a ton of classics on my reading list, it would be a nice bonus if you could recommend works that are a little more modern.
Romance, science fiction, fantasy – I don’t mind too much of the genre, but wouldn’t mind reading more comedy-centred books. For instance, I’ve read the entirety of the Hitchhiker’s series and loved it, but don’t let that alone give you reason to recommend me comedy books; first and foremost, I just want something whacky.
Interested to see what you’ll come up with 🙂
