Hi! My son is 4 and has recently started getting interested in me reading to him more. He has liked the Dogman books so that I can read a chapter or 2 each night before bed. I am looking for a book with more of a plot that he can follow and we can work on some recall each day before we read the next chapter.
I would prefer some fantasy books so that he can really work his imagination right before bed. He does get scared easily, so nothing with really heavy scenes would be best.
We have access to a local library but I am also willing to purchase some if he ends up sticking with this.
